The Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Center for Independent Healthcare Education are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as providers of continuing pharmacy education.
A total of 10 contact hours (1.0 CEUs) are scheduled during the Virtual Annual Meeting, of which a maximum of 10 contact hours (1.0 CEUs) can be earned by a pharmacist and a total of 4 hours (0.4 CEUs) can be earned by a pharmacy technician. The Directors Forum offers an additional 1.5 hours (.15 CEUs) for attendance. To receive credit for an activity, registrants must attend the activity, complete a Continuing Education Credit Report, including the Activity Evaluation, submit online at the end of the meeting, and pay all applicable LSHP fees. To receive credit for the poster session, registrants must attend the poster presentation, complete the questions for each poster in the packet provided, submit the completed packet online, and indicate your attendance for the poster session on your Continuing Education Report Form. LSHP will issue credit electronically via CPE Monitor. You must provide your NABP e-Profile ID and day of birth on your Continuing Education Report Form in order to receive credit.

LSHP no longer issues paper statements of credit. LSHP uses “CPE Monitor,” which is a national, collaborative effort by ACPE and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to track their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must obtain their NABP e-Profile ID by going to www.nabp.net. Your NABP e-Profile ID is required to receive credit for the LSHP Annual Meeting. If you have already set up your e-Profile ID, then please provide it on the registration form in this brochure. If you have not obtained your NABP e-Profile ID yet, then please do so prior to the Annual Meeting as you will have to provide your ID on paperwork that you will turn in at the meeting. Within 60 days of the meeting, LSHP will send to NABP and ACPE the amount of credit you received (using your e-Profile ID) at the Annual Meeting. Once this information is received by NABP, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to log in to access information about their completed CPE.
