SCLSHP Gentamicin: The Good, Bad and Ugly
TYPE OF ACTIVITY/WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This knowledge-based activity is of importance to all pharmacists.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of this activity, pharmacists should be able to:
1. Analyze the appropriateness of gentamicin treatment in a patient
2. Describe the need for patient informed consent regarding gentamicin-induced toxicity. 
3. Identify patients for clinical development of gentamicin induced nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity
