LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of this activity, pharmacists should be able to:
1. Identify risk factors for the development of Clostridium difficile infections (CDI).
2. Recognize laboratory findings used in the diagnosis and management of CDI.
3. Select effective treatment regimens for CDI based on current literature and guidelines.
 
At the conclusion of this activity, technicians should be able to:
1. Identify risk factors for the development of Clostridium difficile infections (CDI).
2. Recognize medications used in the treatment of CDI.
