LEARNING OBJECTIVES (P):
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Review central line types, indications, and complications relevant to antimicrobial management
2.Describe the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and treatment considerations for central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) in adult and pediatric patients
3.Discuss current literature and guideline recommendations regarding antibiotic lock therapy for the prevention and treatment of catheter-related infections
4.Apply principles of antibiotic lock therapy, including patient selection, agent selection, dosing considerations, and monitoring strategies.

The Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
To receive credit for an activity, registrants must attend the activity and complete continuing education credit report via Lecture Panda. LSHP will issue credit electronically via CPE Monitor. You must provide your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth on Lecture Panda to receive credit. LSHP is no longer issuing paper statements of credit. LSHP notified of any discrepancies within 55 days of the CE activity. LSHP will not correct any CE records after 60 days following the activity.
FEES: There are no fees for attendance at the meeting. For non-LSHP members, there will be a $10.00 fee for continuing education credit. There is no CE fee for current LSHP members.
