CPE Accreditation

The Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

A total of 10 contact hours (1.0 CEUs) are scheduled for Saturday's program, of which a maximum of 6 hours (0.6 CEUs) may be earned by an individual participant. To receive credit for the continuing education activities provided by LSHP, registrants must attend activities designated for their credential. They must also complete a Continuing Education Credit Report, including the Activity Evaluations, and submit onsite upon activity completion; provide their NABP e-Profile ID*, as well as month and day of birth; and pay all applicable LSHP fees.

* NABP e-Profile ID: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON HOW TO RECEIVE CREDIT—PLEASE READ:
LSHP no longer issues paper statements of credit. LSHP uses “CPE Monitor,” which is a national, collaborative effort by ACPE and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to track their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must obtain their NABP e-Profile ID by going to www.nabp.net. Your NABP e-Profile ID is required to receive credit for the LSHP Mid Year Meeting. If you have already set up your e-Profile ID, then please provide it on the registration form in this brochure. If you have not obtained your NABP e-Profile ID yet, then please do so prior to the Mid Year Meeting as you will have to provide your ID on paperwork that you will turn in at the meeting. Within 60 days of the meeting, LSHP will send to NABP and ACPE the amount of credit you received (using your e-Profile ID) at the Mid Year Meeting. Once this information is received by NABP, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to log in to access information about their completed CPE.
