Stop the Bleed: Factor Product Selection and Dosing for Inpatient Management of Hemophilia A

LEARNING OBJECTIVES (P):

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Analyze the clotting factor deficiency and resulting clinical manifestations of hemophilia A
2. Compare the available factor products for treating hemophilia A
3. Apply guideline recommended factor product dosing and monitoring strategies to an inpatient case
4. Examine appropriate bypass therapy for acute management of bleeds in patients who have developed inhibitor formation
