This Knowledge based activity is of importance to all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES (P):

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Recognize the pathophysiology of acute ischemic stroke
2. Analyze literature on thrombolytics as therapeutic options for acute ischemic stroke
3. Describe the role of tenecteplase in acute ischemic stroke
4. Demonstrate the preparation and administration of tenecteplase

  1. Manage the distribution of tenecteplase within the facility.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT: 1.0 contact hours of continuing education credit can be earned through the participation in and successful completion of this activity.

ACCREDITATION

The Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

To receive credit for an activity, registrants must attend the activity and complete continuing education credit report via Lecture Panda. LSHP will issue credit electronically via CPE Monitor. You must provide your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth on Lecture Panda to receive credit. LSHP is no longer issuing paper statements of credit. LSHP notified of any discrepancies within 55 days of the CE activity. LSHP will not correct any CE records after 60 days following the activity. 

FEES: There are no fees for attendance at the meeting. For non-LSHP members, there will be a $10.00 fee for continuing education credit. There is no CE fee for current LSHP members.
