The Board published its Notice of Intent in the January 2017 edition of the Louisiana Register, and as indicated in that notice, convened a public hearing to receive comments and testimony on March 2.  During their subsequent meeting on March 14, the members voted to revise the original proposed rule in 16 separate areas.  The Board published those proposed revisions as a Potpourri Notice in the May 2017 edition of the Louisiana Register, and as indicated in that notice, convened a public hearing to receive comments and testimony on the proposed revisions on June 26.  After reviewing the questions seeking clarification and the one request for additional revisions, the Board determined no additional revisions were necessary.

The Board has today filed its Second Report  to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health & Welfare.  Subject to review by that committee, the Board proposes to publish the original proposed rule, as once revised, as a Final Rule in the August 2017 edition of the Louisiana Register.
